First of all… what is content marketing? Content marketing is essentially creating and distributing high value, relevant and valuable content to your target audience. The content must be interesting and engaging to attract and acquire new customers or clients. The sole purpose is to drive profitable customer actions. Put your messages or stories in front of as many quality leads as possible.
Let’s face it… facts tell… and stories sell.
Consumers have turned either turned off, shut down, or ignored the typical old types of marketing methods. Traditional marketing is becoming less and less effective. The idea is to enhance or change consumer behavior. People often tell me, “Wow, your industry, internet marketing, has really changed over the last few years.” And I say, “No… not really… but people’s perception of what we do online has changed.” Now people are seeing results and if they didn’t place themselves in front of the curve… they are most likely playing catch up.
2. Website Style Is Key To Your Marketing Campaigns
The days of ugly, outdated websites are over. If you haven’t updated your website by now… there is a good chance your business days may be numbered. You’ve got less than 7 seconds to grab someone’s attention that makes it to your website. If you don’t grab then… poof… they are gone… most likely never to return. 4. You Must Engage Your Fans, Followers, Customers And Clients On Social Media
Hopefully you aren’t one of those businesses or business owners that has your sister, cousin, son, secretary or mother posting your updates on social media. Why? Because 9.9 times out of 10 they have no idea what they are doing. And even worse… they probably don’t have a clue how to respond to questions or comments. This could literally be the difference between making a sale and digging your grave. 5. Automate Your Marketing
2014 is the year for automation. There are so many tools out there that can help you save time. Put these tools in the hands of someone who knows how to use them, and you really will be cooking with gas!!! Autoresponders, email sign-up forms, email newsletters, websites written in WordPress, widgets, apps, and other software will allow you to finally break the chains and have some time to your self.
